Keeping healthy whilst travelling is vital if you are going to get the most out of the trip. We all know about travel in certain parts of the world where a visit to the doctors with a stomach complaint is almost inevitable. It can ruin the holiday not only for your self but also for your travel companions.
So keeping healthy is something to consider seriously before heading off to on the exotic holiday. The first thing to do is to check the health information about the place you are travelling to. Every health centre or surgery has travel information about the locations and which health risks exist. There may be a need for some inoculations before travel and these should be taken.
There are all sorts of things out there which your body isn’t used to. Having had those inoculations it’s as well to remember that there will be other aspects which may impact on health and the biggest of these is water. The most vital of all things is important in two ways. Be One is that to stay hydrated you must drink lots of it. The other is to make sure you are drinking bottle water and not taking it from a tap. The water in many countries is not for drinking but purely for washing and maybe cooking.
Bottled water is something all seasoned travellers carry with them when out in a new country. There are purification tablets and some say boiling water can be the answer, but if it’s available then get the bottled stuff. It’s safer and not expensive.
